Here is a quick poster design I did for Student Fruit at work. The brief was for a bold typographic design that would stand out in a night club.

I have always liked this ad campaign. The slogan (“You’ll do the football, we’ll do the beer!”) was so great to work with and I think what I came up with complemented it perfectly.

The Brief
The Local Mail Brochure is, as the name suggests, a local brochure containing insight into your local community; with trusted business listings, information on insurance, banking, life cover and much more.

The Solution
I designed this brochure from the ground up, from the logo to the adverts in it. The logo is very much the style I like. As with my animation, I like to work with the letter forms, playing around with them to see if I can create something unique. Here I use the ‘L’ and ‘M’ to create the logo, almost forming an envelope.
The brochure itself is intentionally bold to stand out on Post Office counter. It’s eye catching and instantly recognizable.
